VDAS Design Association cordially invites you to a rare and inspiring talkshow with Maxime Péroz, a celebrated French comic artist and educator whose works beautifully blend travel, culture, and narrative illustration.

Maxime has published with leading French publishers such as Delcourt, Mango, Paquet, and Bamboo. In 2017, he released his notable graphic novel “Big Bang Saigon”, capturing a personal and artistic reflection of his time in Vietnam. He currently teaches basic art at a university in France, and one of his teaching methods was published in Vietnam by Nhã Nam in 2023.

He is also in discussions with Kim Dong Publishing House for a future comic project. Beyond the studio, Maxime organizes annual sketching trips across Vietnam, turning landscapes and everyday life into visual diaries.

This talkshow will offer exclusive insights into his creative process, how travel influences his storytelling, and the unique dialogue between comics and culture.
