Triển lãm thiết kế quốc tế Singapore
Nhận được lời mời và tài trợ tham dự Tuần lễ triển lãm Thiết kế quốc tế tại Singapore, nằm trong khuôn khổ Hội chợ Quốc tế Đồ Gỗ IFFS 2014 được tổ chức tại Singapore Expo từ ngày 13/3/2014 đến ngày 16/3/2014. Đây là hội chợ lớn nhất tại Singapore được tổ chức vào tháng 3 hàng năm.
Tại đây có sự tham gia của đại diện các Hiệp hội Thiết kế khu vực Châu Á, các nhà Thiết kế tiêu biểu xuất sắc của mỗi quốc gia, các trường thiết kế có danh tiếng trong khu vực như Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia... và các công ty thiết kế và khách mua hàng quốc tế.
Bà Trần Ngọc Danh – đại diện cho Văn phòng Hiệp hội phía Nam đã có buổi thuyết trình về “Sự phát triển của ngành thiết kế Việt Nam” đã nêu lên ý nghĩa, tầm quan trọng của thiết kế đối với sự phát triển kinh tế của đất nước và sự phát triển, tiến bộ cũng như các khó khăn đang gặp phải và hướng phát triển hoà nhập với cộng đồng thiết kế quốc tế. Bài nói chuyện đã thu hút được sự quan tâm của nhiều tổ chức và chuyên gia.
Trong 4 ngày diễn ra hội chợ, sản phẩm thiết kế của các công ty tiêu biểu như Mekong Creations, Annie Furniture, O&M.., sản phẩm thiết kế xuất sắc của các nhà thiết kế chuyên nghiệp và sinh viên Học viện Thiết kế ADS và Đại học Kiến Trúc TP Hồ Chí Minh… đã được trưng bày và nhận được rất nhiều sự tán thưởng từ các chuyên gia và khách hàng quốc tế. Đây là cơ hội lớn để giới thiệu và khuyến khích các sản phẩm thiết kế Việt Nam đến với bạn bè quốc tế, đồng thời cũng là sân chơi để các nhà thiết kế trong khu vực có dịp gặp gỡ trao đổi, giao lưu và học hỏi kinh nghiệm.
