Training course "Industrial design trends. Food packaging in brand communication strategy"

On August 27 - 28, 2024, at Hall 156 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 1, a series of exhibition and product display activities were implemented, chaired by the Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Design Association (VDAS), the Department of Tourism, the Food and Foodstuff Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Handicraft and Wood Processing Association, and the Food Association. The training course organized short-term training courses on "Skills to access the gift market serving the Ho Chi Minh City tourism industry" within the framework of the event "Ho Chi Minh City Gift and Souvenir Fair and Exhibition 2024" with the participation of more than 50 enterprises in the industry, business establishments, cooperatives and enterprises with the potential to supply gifts and souvenirs: enterprises producing processed food products such as tea, coffee, industrial processed foods; handicraft industry; technology enterprises providing services: packaging design, brand/label design, sales services.

This is the opening event in the series of programs of "Ho Chi Minh City Gift and Souvenir Fair and Exhibition 2024" and "The 18th Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair 2024 (ITE HCMC 2024)" approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. The exhibition takes place from September 5, 2024 to September 7, 2024 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) with a total scale of 500 booths, considered a key event of the city's tourism industry, attracting about 250 high-end buyers from more than 40 countries and 25,000 visitors to trade and connect.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep - Member of the Executive Committee, Head of Training and Education Department of VDAS Design Association, Lecturer of Graphic Design at HCM City University of Architecture with Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nam - Head of Graphic Design, Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts, HCM City University of Architecture.
