The workshop "Creating Perfect Spaces," organized by the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), opened up new perspectives on living space design, helping students shape their creative thinking and prepare them to conquer professional arenas.
Taking place on March 24th, the program provided young people with an opportunity to explore modern design trends and gain the necessary knowledge for the "Creating Perfect Spaces" competition organized by Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam.
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Masashi Sakabe, General Director of Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam, expressed his hope that the younger generation will continuously innovate and apply technology to design in order to create comfortable, sustainable living spaces that are in line with future trends.
From a practical perspective, Architect Ta Vinh Phuc - Founder & CEO of ROOM+ Design & Build - shared in-depth insights into the core criteria of architectural design. Beyond theory, principles of functionality, aesthetics, and user experience were analyzed through real-world projects, helping students understand how to apply them to the design and implementation process.
In addition, experts from Panasonic introduced a series of important solutions for creating modern living spaces, from improving indoor air quality and lighting design principles to the role of electrical systems in the overall building. These topics help participants approach design in a holistic way, balancing technical aspects, aesthetics, and user experience.
The highlight of the program is the direct exchange between students and experts, helping them address practical issues such as handling errors in drawings, selecting appropriate materials, or optimizing design under construction conditions. Through this, students reinforce their knowledge and improve their problem-solving skills, preparing them for their future careers.
Concluding the workshop, Dr. Architect Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Vice President of the VDAS Design Association, Advisor to the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts, emphasized the role of sustainability and smart technology in modern design. These insights not only broadened perspectives but also contributed to guiding students in developing their creative abilities and integrating with modern architectural trends.
