Invited to attend the TJAI Asia Nonwovens Technology Expo (ANTEX Asia) 2025 in Thailand — an international exhibition dedicated to fashion, textiles, and nonwoven materials — the Vietnam Design Association (VDAS – HCM Vietnam) organized a meaningful international study and networking trip for a group of talented young Vietnamese designers from the fields of fashion, materials, and creative design.

This initiative is part of VDAS’s ongoing mission to foster learning, inspire innovation, and expand global perspectives for Vietnam’s new generation of designers — empowering them to take an active role in the country’s creative and industrial development.

During their participation at ANTEX Asia 2025, the VDAS delegation visited international showcases featuring cutting-edge technologies in materials, technical fabrics, recycled fibers, nonwoven production, and sustainable manufacturing solutions. Vietnamese designers had the valuable opportunity to engage directly with emerging material trends, eco-friendly processes, and green innovations shaping the future of fashion and design in Asia.

Beyond the exhibition tour, the team also joined expert seminars focused on “Smart Textiles, Sustainable Materials & Circular Design”, gaining insights into the global shift toward environmentally responsible material technologies — a key driver for the next evolution of design worldwide.

This experiential journey was not only a learning opportunity and professional exchange, but also a clear demonstration of VDAS’s pioneering role in connecting, mentoring, and elevating Vietnam’s young creative talents. Through proactive engagement in international events like ANTEX Asia, VDAS reaffirms its commitment to advancing Vietnam’s creative design sector onto the regional and global stage.

Guided by the spirit of “Learning by Connection – Growth by Collaboration”, VDAS continues to develop training, exchange, and global exhibition programs that enable Vietnam’s young designers to grow sustainably, embrace innovation, and express the distinctive identity of Vietnamese design on the world map.
